FlipKey“We stayed at Brandon Mountain Cottage for a week in May 2016. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you can think of! We met the owners and they were very friendly and helpful. The welcome pack of wine, chocolate and homemade marmalade was a lovely surprise! The cottage is in a great location. The bakery at the local shop is amazing and worth visiting every morning! The landlord at the pub in Brandon was very friendly and welcoming to us and our young children. We saw dolphins on several occasions at Brandon Point which is just up the road. We had a lovely week and would definitely recommend!” Guests in 2016

“Delighted with our stay at this cottage. Cosy clean and superb location for beaches and walking climbing Mount Brandon a must. Linda and Eileen have thought of everything you may need and a welcome of jam and scones was a very kind gesture. Views out of this world and lovely to be ten mins walk from beach.” Jacqueline H, Sept 2018

“We stayed here with another couple (my parents). The home is easy to get to, and located in a lovely area between Cloghane and Brandon. There are many nice strolls you can do from the home, including down to Cappagh beach. The kitchen and living room had everything you could think to need for a pleasant stay, including some DVD’s of American TV shows and some movies. The only tricky bit was that the bedrooms and bath are on the 2nd floor, which was easy for all of us except for my dad with a bad knee. Staying here, we just fell in love with the Dingle Peninsula! I would highly recommend renting this home if you wish to explore Dingle.” Maureen 2017

Guests in 2016

“Stayed for a couple of days, wish I could have stayed longer. Great house with all you could need and the owners can’t do enough for you. Stunning views and peace and quiet what more do you need.” Paul, Sept 2016

“Eenvoudig maar zeer sfeervol huis. Prima ligging met uitzicht op de baai. Ontzettend gastvrij! Zou er zo weer heen gaan! Top!Een vette 8 als rapportcijfer! Wij hebben ons uitstekend vermaakt. Met 10 minuten sta je met je voetjes in het water.” August 2016

“We initially booked this as the reviews were so great, however you can’t fault the cost either. Everything and I mean everything is included. Every single piece of kitchen equipment that you could ask for plus a very welcoming gift of a bottle of wine, chocolates and homemade marmalade. It is a very spacious property in the most amazing location with everything on your doorstep. Kappagh beach is directly opposite and Fremoyle beach is better than Inch and some of the top beaches I have visited in the world. Connor pass is a ten minute drive with a twenty minute drive to reach the town of Dingle. The closest pub that we enjoyed was Murphys on the pier this guy is really making a go of this place and it is homely with the locals. At Brandon point you can view Dolphins and the boat trip in Dingle to see Funghi was a hit with the kids. The local bakery does the most amazing soda bread and has most items for sale. If you were considering a trip to The Dingle Peninsula I would book here a absolutely no doubt about it!” Maria, UK, 2016

5 of 5 starsBeautiful spot—we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. We felt totally at home and very comfortable. The view from the front yard was lovely and there are sheep in the backyard. The cottage was very clean and we enjoyed having bog fires in the fireplace. It was a nice location to pivot from to visit the Dingle peninsula. We would definitely return. Linda and her mother-in-law Eileen were ideal hosts.” Mark and Melissa, Brooklyn, New York, Guests in 2015

“Fabulous stay and wonderful location. Upon arrival we were very pleasantly surprised by the cottage, it was immaculately clean with every possible thing you would require for a week’s stay. The location is absolutely amazing, you can’t equal those views anywhere.” Jenny, Northampton, United Kingdom, Guests in 2015

“If you want to stay in a very very beautiful area, slightly off the beaten track, you will love this place.  We did. It is very comfortable and has all the amenities you need.  I particularly loved looking out the windows facing the mountain side and seeing sheep grazing in the pastures just outside. The owners are a family that live in the nearby villages, so are available for any questions you may have.  They are very responsive during booking, arriving, or while you are there. You can drive anywhere on the lovely Dingle peninsula within 15-30 min.  We’d recommend this place any time to any of our friends.”  Jay and Barbara, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, Guests in 2013

“My husband and I find the location, just between Cloghane and Brandon, to be fantastic with amazing views over the estuary. The house is large and very clean and all utensils, bedding and towels are provided and there’s a lovely large garden that we can sit out in during the evening. There’s plenty of watersports in the area as well as boat hire and angling.  It’s only a short drive to Dingle and Inch and the Conor Pass. We find it very affordable and it’s just over a four-hour drive from our home in Dublin. We’ll definitely stay again.” Rebecca, Dublin, Ireland, Guests in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013

“The cottage is big enough for my family and all my cousins and my Nana and I love us all being together on holidays.” Emma, Age 9, Dublin, Ireland, Her family has been guests since the 1970s.

“The garden is ideal for children. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Cappagh Beach, and there are stunning views. It is close to Dingle and an ideal base to expore the beautiful County Kerry.” Emma’s mother

“A cosy house with everything one needs, nice landscape and friendly people!” Cecile and Hans, Velbert, Germany, Guests in 2012

“We stayed at Brandon Mountain Cottage with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter for two weeks in March. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to make a meal. We especially enjoyed the easy access to the beach, real turf fire in the fireplace, and beautiful, peaceful surroundings. There are many wonderful artists to visit in the area as well and several are just a short walk away.” Nancy and Fred, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, Guests in 2005, 2007

We’ve had a lovely holiday in this cosy cottage. The house is clean, confortable and has got everything you can need. Lynda and Eyleen gave us a warm welcome and help us to plan our activities. They make you feel like at home. The area is really wonderful: nice villages, nice people, nice pubs and amazing landscapes, including the views from the house. We’ve planned to visit a lot of places around, but since we arrived, we fell in love with Dingle Peninsula and spent all the time enjoying it!!
